I'm happy you want to get to know me!
My name is Anna Katharina Weber, I am in my forties, white and my pronouns are "she/her". After many years in Berlin and around the world, Hamburg is now my homebase. This is where I like to live - and still love to get around!
I love people, nature and my dog, big water bodies, vegetables from our solidarity agriculture and art that touches heart and head.
about me
what drives me
Transformation and justice are themes that have always accompanied me: from my first anti-nuclear protests on my parents' arms, to activism in my teenage years, my volunteer service in a 2000-people village in Nicaragua, my studies in Berlin on issues of development policy and economics as well as international cooperation, to my professional experience in development cooperation in different countries and inner development journeys in my training as a yoga teacher and systemic counsellor and coach.
What do individuals, teams and larger communities need to transform? How can everyone gain access in the process and how can justice become the baseline? How can these processes be supported in an approachable and inspiring way? These questions will probably accompany and guide me throughout my life.
In this quest, I have learned that people are always experts for their own context. With some process support, individuals, teams and communities can create solutions that are suitable and helpful for their context. In this, the support should shape and hold a participatory process through which all voices and ideas can be heard, that invites other perspectives to be discovered and appreciated, and in which creative methods and interventions allow for unconventional ideas.
It fills me with bubbly joy and deep gratitude when people entrust themselves to my facilitation and recognize helpful things, practice nurturing interactions and co-creatively bring their ideas for the world to life!
